Dr. Nicola McArdle BChD MFDS RCS Eng MSc Aesthetic and Restorative dentistry (Manch)

Dr. Nicola McArdle graduated from the University of Malta in 2004. She moved to Sheffield, UK in 2006 in order to further her postgraduate education in oral and maxillofacial surgery. In 2007 Nicola passed her London MFDS examinations attaining membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In the same year she moved to Ireland to take up a position of Senior House Officer in Trinity College Dublin Dental School and Hospital and stayed on working as a Clinical Supervisor working alongside world-leaders in various fields of dentistry.
In January 2012 she was awarded a certificate in implant dentistry by the Irish Institute of Primary Health Care and the Northumberland Institute of Oral Medicine.
She is the founder of Ivory Dental Care an award-winning clinic in Malahide Dublin. During her time in Ireland Nicola treated several high-profile celebrities amongst which was the famous singer Rihanna and maintained a part-time teaching position as a clinical supervisor in advanced restorative dentistry at Trinity College Dublin Dental University Hospital.
Dr. McArdle also played an active role in both the metropolitan as well as the patient quality and safety committees of the Irish Dental Association and was highly involved in organising continuous professional education for Irish dentists.
She has just completed a Masters degree in restorative and aesthetic dentistry with the University of Manchester.
After twelve years living abroad, Nicola has relocated back to Malta together with her Irish husband and son and now dedicates her time to private practice showing a special interest in restorative, aesthetic and implant dentistry. She has also taken up a part-time teaching role in restorative dentistry at the University of Malta.
In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, travelling and cooking.
