For many years, Mark worked closely with his mentor, Professor Peter Nilsson from Sweden both in Sweden and in Malta. This allowed Mark to keep very much at the cutting edge of dental implant surgery. Peter frequently came to work with Mark in Malta, helping patients who required complex work.

Time has moved on and Mark now does the same and helps Dr Tim Vella Briffa consolidate his skills in oral and dental implant surgery. Tim has recently completed his specialist training in Oral Surgery and now is working within the unit as well as a resident specialist at Mater Dei Hospital.
